My muscle pain was stopped by oral clindamycin, but I know we're all different when it comes to what works.
Now I take turmeric for joint and muscle pain. I get it in bulk at the healthfood store and put it in capsules.
What about soaking in hot water, then stretching the muscles to get more bloodflow?
I once stretched out tight muscles for nine months in the pool, and no more pain in the area after that.

Look into Serretia. An amazing systemic enzyme that will help with muscle pain.
