I just started treatment two weeks ago (600mg rifampin daily) among tons of other things. I was wondering how you begin to recognize a herx? My pain has decreased and now come back even worse with intense muscle cramping in my shoulders and neck. However, this is normal for me before treatment. Thanks!

Sounds like a herx.. especially since we have a full moon right now!

Make sure you are getting plenty of magnesium into you!

Do anything you can to detox, like drinking lemon water.

Thanks! Totally new to treatment and trying to read as much as I can here. Is magnesium something I can up without consulting the dr first?
