Has anyone experienced issues with breakthrough bleeding? It isn't normal for me and I was wondering if it can be a side effect of the abx interacting with birth control? Should I call my doctor? Any advice appreciated!

This can happen when taking bc pills and antibiotics. The antibiotics reduce the effectiveness of the pill. Doctors advise patients to use an additional form of birth control in this situation.
"Nevertheless, it is noteworthy that antibiotics, such as rifampin, ampicillin, tetracylines, and griseofulvin have been reported to cause breakthrough bleeding and menstrual irregularities in women taking birth control pills."
Read up on the subject and then decide what you should do.
