Last night, I used the bathroom and found something that looked like it shouldn't be there.
I've already called my LLMD and local internist. My LLMD is not around until next week.
Should this turn out to be a parasite or worm issue (ugh....!), am I in any kind of immediate danger?
Could these things cause serious damage between now and me seeing a doctor, or am I ok to wait for the doctor, testing, etc.?
Hoping it's no big deal. I just finished treating a candida overgrowth and felt better than I have in a long time.
Frustrated to see that there now might be yet another issue.
Any advice is appreciated!
Thanks very much, jwick

You are not in any danger from expelling a worm. However, this type of infection has to be addressed and you should discuss this with your doctor. Good idea to read The PARASITE WARRIORS SUPPORT THREAD.
On an another note, the testing for parasites are not reliable. I tested negative and was loaded with this infection.
People have brought the actual worms to the lab and they said it was negative because they need to see eggs in the stool. Keep us posted.

I agree with Nancy....can't believe an actual worm in the lab wasn't enough.
I'm still not sure that this is the issue....but I suspect.
Glad to know I'm not in danger.

Jwick, everyone has parasites. They are part of this earth. Lyme patients seem to have more of them though and need to knock them back.
A worm could jump up and whip the lab tech in the face and they still wouldn't say a patient has them. They test for eggs, not worms. And the sample patients send in only represents a miniscule portion of excrement, which means the odds are high of missing evidence.
This is one area that made me realize western medicine was absolutely clueless. It also identifies just another reason why the evidence based medicine model doesn't work for people with chronic issues. Symptoms rule. Good luck!

So true Catgirl...I put one in the collection tube 2 weeks after starting salt/C and could actually see them. It was atleast 5 inches long. No way they could have missed it.
The lab said negative, very disappointing.

Catgirl....thanks for the advice....and for making me laugh after a cruddy day.
I always see salt/c written about on these boards, so I plan to research it and see what it's all about.
Of course, I wouldn't do anything without first seeing my LLMD and confirming what the issue is.
It really is amazing how ridiculous some of these testing methods are.

Thanks Tick battler (secretly wishing it would happen)!
You're welcome Jwick. :) Jlcd1, I also sent some worms in and the lab said negative (go figure).
