I have been on a pretty aggressive regime for about a week and a half - doxy , tindamax ( pulsed ) malarone , plaquinal and a few herbals - so far when I am on the tindamax I feel horrible , extreme headache , occasional chills , feeling of disorientation - confusion , and extreme fatigue ..... Does this sound like side affect from meds or is this a good thing ? I don't really know how much of this I can take .. Past few days were brutal ... Thanks for any input !

Hi Big Lenny,
I don't herx from tindi, but from the symptoms you're describing sound like my lyme herxes when I increased my IV abx dose.
It was terrible. But the next week was easier.
How many pulses have you done of the tinidazole so far? Is this your first one?

What I meant to say but didn't was, "Sounds like a herx" from the tindi.
Although I haven't had one from tindi, but have had similar symptoms from lyme herx from IV.
Whew. Neuro lyme...makes things hard to clearly get across!

Tindimax was pretty awful for me too. I took it on the weekends and it would happen every weekend. Sounds kinda like a herx.
