Hi Everyone,

I'm new here, but not new to Lyme. I have had it since 1999. I was told I was cleared through testing back in 2006 by Dr. H and thought I was dealing with a yeast issue.

So over the years I tried to self treat with Antifungals, Yeast free, sugar free, and a gluten free diet.

I did not have much luck because I would start out with small doses and would do okay for about a week.

After about a week I would have to stop because the die off would become too much to handle.

About 6 months ago I started to see an ND to help. He suspected I still had Lyme so he tested me for it by giving me a Lyme Nosode to see how I would react to it.

I took 1 drop and was completely exhausted for about 3 days. So he concluded that I still had Lyme.

My question is, I have so much trouble tolerating anything. I have to put drops of herbs in water and then take teaspoons of the water and even that can be difficult sometimes.

I can't even tolerate the sauna, maybe about 10 min of it and then I feel it for days.

I am doing lots of Liver support, castor oil packs, lemon water, epsom salt baths and such, but it doesn't seem to help much.

Is anyone else like that, that started off not being able to tolerate much, but gradually was able to work up to tolerating more.

I just wonder how am I ever supposed to get better if I can't take full doses of anything? Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks for the Welcome

Really over the years my only remaining symptom was fatigue. I have a lot of yeast issues too. That's why I thought I was left with Candida.

Acne, scalp itching, YI's. The only other thing was a few heart palpitations every once in awhile.

Now that I am taking the Lyme Nosode, a few other symptoms popped up. Some very mild joint pain, muscle twitching and headaches.

I should say the fatigue is my most troublesome symptom. It has been from day one, and the thing that bothers me the most whenever I try to take anything.

I would treat the yeast aggressively. It can really make you tired.

Need Molybdenum (Dr. Yasko recommends 75-100mcg/day) to support detoxing of aldehydes (yeast die-off) and other chemicals.

Chainsaw, that's me too. I can tolerate 1 probiotic a day though, it's a 5 Billion Pill. Otherwise I am so sensitive to anything to the point that I have to stop after a few days of taking any anti fungal.

I have been breaking open capsules and adding drops of things to a cup of water and then taking teaspoons of the water.

This seems to help me be able to tolerate things much better for a little longer, only having to take a break here and there.

Normally it would set me back for a few days or a week. I also have been doing lots of detox things too. I never used to do much for that. So that might help too.

I just hope I will be able to steadily increase so I can start to make some progress. It seems I have been at this forever.

I ordered the Molybdenum today, so I hope that will help a little too.

Welcome Pebbles!

My fatigue has turned out to be mostly from parasites. Hitting them has helped my energy the most. Parasites are a huge part of lyme, and IMO the most overlooked.

There is a good thread here called THE PARASITE WARRIOR'S SUPPORT THREAD loaded with other people's experiences.

http://flash.lymenet.org/ubb/ultimatebb.php/topic/1/122300

Heavy metals are also a huge factor with yeast, and an on going issue as we are all exposed to them daily (air, food, water). IMO, the yeast will never leave until the metals are out or greatly reduced. The more heavy metals I get out, the better my yeast situation gets.

Practically everyone has genetic issues. You might want to check out 23&me. Also, detoxing goes hand in hand with treating lyme. Coffee enemas are a wonderful way to feel better quick.

Thanks Catgirl :-)

I have been seeing an ND, and on my next visit we are going to start addressing metals and parasites. I completely agree with you on this and feel it's what has been holding me back for so long.

I have been trying to self treat yeast for a few years now with no luck, that's why I started to see an ND. I felt I needed more help with the parasites and metal cleansing. Hopefully I can make more progress once I address these issues.

I'm glad you are seeing progress with your yeast issues. I will check out the Parasite Warriors thread...thank you.

What does 23&me stand for? I have not heard of this before. Sorry if this is a silly question!!

You're welcome! It stands for 23 chromosomes. The site also gives ancestry info (kinda cool).

Take a look at a really cool Rife set up. Very inexpensive and seems to be finally helping me!
