The only thing that will save this kids life are antibiotics at this point. It's like holding chemo from a cancer patient or insulin from a diabetic.
The executives/dr's at the IDSA and CDC should be physically dragged out of their offices and .....well you know what.

Maybe he's too ill right now for antibiotics?? Or he is on abx and Dr H didn't mention it?

Sometimes a lyme complex patient is too sick to tolerate abx
My mom was. One of the top llmds told me it would be inhumaneto treat when she couldnt understand pain of herx
Also with metals and mold the toxins from abx tx would make him worse
Maybe he will respond really well to metal and mold tx and be able to tolerate abx in future
So sad
And siyuation of so many docs and no dx just po's me

I'm not usually a Fox fan, but they are doing a better job with lyme than a lot of other media. Surprised me.

I think he's taking them but Dr. H isn't going to just announce it on the news that he's treating with them.
It was a great piece of news on a terrible situation.

I assume abx are included in the 40 pills a day he has to take. I hope Dr H can help him.

He has METAL rods in his body. I am sure this has led him to further complications, as borrelia builds its biofilm around the metal.

I have a metal/titanium plate in my cranio-cervical juncture, i.e; chiari plate, and Dr. H. never mentioned anything about biofilms forming there.
We talked about the ketes not being able to drill into titanium (I also have a bovine patch in my head/dura and that is a different story) but never mentioned about biofilms in that area.
Now I am curious.....will biofilms form around metal and if so what is the theory behind this action?
