I'm about 8 weeks in for treating my Bart relapse. I'm feeling better in a lot of ways, but the day time sweats are not letting up. I'm getting a little hot at night but not having night sweats.

Does anyone have any insight about this? Did you sweat from treating Bart? I'm treating with Rifampin (full dose), Mino, and Zithro.

I don't think it's Babs because I'm not having head pressure or dizziness, and my muscle pain is getting a lot better.

Thanks guys!

My guess would be either your body is trying to detox,
or sometimes the Rifampin can mess with hormones?

Glad you're feeling better--strong combo!

So glad you are feeling better RC1! Such good news to know that this combo is working!

I am also encouraged to hear that your muscle pain is better too! I think my muscle pain is from Bart as well.

Have you checked the side effects of any of the meds? Sometimes they cause sweating.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I haven't had sweating for a few days now, hopefully it's ending.

I'll tell ya what really blows my mind...that I could feel 85-90% on Bart suppressing drugs. But on Bart killers, whoa!! Holy herxing!

I think Bart is a much bigger player than previously thought. I don't think it's as easily eradicated as Dr. B. says. I'm eight weeks on this combo and I'm not even close to being done.

I did like a year of Septra with Mino and Zithro, with a couple of months of Rifampin thrown in. Still had Bart. Lots of it.
