i am using perfect food brand green powder. I am using it every other day cause I start low and slow with everything i do.

The day after i take it i feel a bit worse.

Is this detox reaction or should I discontinue?

I chose this brand because it didn't have unknown herbs or herbs that would react with/kill lyme.

It is all veggies people eat everyday, kale, tomatoes, asparagus, wheat grass, sprouts, etc.

I had trouble with green powder because of the stevia, makes me feel wired. I also get that reaction from alkaline water, so it could be making you more alkaline.

More likely is that it is causing detox faster than your body can process it. Maybe adding Epsom salt baths, dry skin brushing, or infrared sauna might help?

Yes me as well.

Are there spirulina or chlorella listed?

Also, beets tend to increase nausea.

I had to stop my green powder smoothies because of nausea.

yes, there is spirulina and chlorella in it. I don't feel nauseous, I feel more malaise and weakness and cognitive slowdown.

Does that make sense? Maybe it is a coincidence.

My urine tests highly alkaline during the day, I always assumed it was because I drink lots of water.

I can't do wheat grass, sprouts and greens like that. I have a nickel allergy and those stir up that problem. The concentrated green drinks don't work for me. They make me ill.

Very possible that it is attaching to metals in your system and you are having a herx from metal chelation.

Chlorella is very powerful. But when you take it, you can feel a detox reaction. One of the tricks is to take more, sometimes MUCH more. Then like magic, your fatigue goes out, your brain starts working, you even may not feel sick anymore.

That at least happened to me. I know this plant now very well, and it is my favorite detoxing agent. but if I take too little, I feel weak, dizzy, etc.

Some people though have problems to digest it. So I know it is dangerous to take a lot, as it can cause GI symptoms. I had also bloating in the beginning.

chlorella binds to metals and I have the same problem with it - severe herx and fluishness .
