I'm getting toward the end of my treatment, I think (hooray!) I've gotten to where I'm barely having symptoms anymore, so we're hopeful that that'll whittle on down to none, and then I'll take another 3 months of meds, and then they'll release me back into the wild. Last time I made it a year before I got sick again, so we'll see what happens this time.

I've noticed that I'm pretty regularly having little flares every two weeks. That used to mean I was a bedridden mess, but now flares for me are a tiny bit of joint pain (like a 1 out of 5), and maybe a little more fatigue than usual (but not the kind where I've gotta sleep this instant). This seems to last about a week, but it sometimes bleeds into a second week.

I know some of these bugs have different reproduction rates, and was just wondering if there's some significance to the two week mark?

I may be wrong here, but it is my understanding that babesia has 7 AND 14 day flares.

(Going off memory-TF is really good with the specifics from Dr. B)

Have you treated babesia?

Never treated for Babesia, doctor didn't think my symptoms fit (and serology for that came back negative as well. My Lyme serology came back SUPER POSITIVE).

Also thanks [Smile] I'm still waiting for the other shoe to drop, as they say, but so far it's just been improving.
