One month--that's what I thought and I did some research. Most only had one month. I will not pick up Medicare part B. Thank you.

I was told by a doctor that they cover it if you go out to a doctors office or somewhere like that to get the IV every time you need it. I was under the impression it would be covered for much longer than a month but I don't have personal experience with it.
I think you will need to talk to someone who has actual experience. It may also depend on the policy that you have. Perhaps call medicare or try to find info on their site? Unfortunately calling them can generate different answers each time you call.
If you do find out please come back and post so others can have answers when this question comes up again.

Some doctors have an IV lounge where you go to the clinic for it. Since it's medical, you might get more coverage that way.
If it's rocephin that you need, the generic (at least at my local pharmacy) was about $100 for a month's supply. I tried IM injections first to see if I could even tolerate rocephin and actigall before getting a picc line.
My doc said (and I've read) it's 85-95% as effective as IV. This was good enough for me to gauge if it would even work for me.
