I've looked all over and can't find a.a. in bulk. What they are selling is artemisia absinthium. I'm also wondering what the difference is and why annua is preferred by Buhner and others. Also why the herb places like MRH is selling, or prefer, absinthium rather than annua.

To answer my question about why annua is preferred, Buhner says that it is the only plant in the family to contain artemesinin, the most active malarial constituent. Babesia is a protozoal parasite, much like malaria and annua is used to treat malaria.
Just read that.

The place I got mine has closed because the FDA was requiring something that was too expensive for them to do. Don't really understand why FDA was permitted to interfere with herbal treatments, as they are supposed to be exempt from drug rules. At least at present. There is always pressure to put them out of business.
