Does this test result mean I do have Lyme disease? Western Blot: IGM 23 Band present, IGM 41 band Equivocal.

The 23 band is a Lyme antibody band. Many people, including many doctors, think that even one Lyme-specific band showing up means Lyme.

Yes. Band 23 is lyme specific. It only shows up with lyme, nothing else.

I had the western blot test done, and only band 23 show up as well. I am waiting for the Igenix lab test in california.
It's all very confusing, do I have it? or Don't I? It's mainly based on symptoms and test results. A good LLMD will know how to treat you, but also look for other factors as well.
Like heavy metal toxicity, mold exposure, thyroid, co-infections, diet, etc...
Good luck sunshine
