I have a doctor's appointment on July 25th and am going to have to cancel it because there is no point for me to talk to him without any results. Is there any other reputable lab that could perform the Babesia Duncani test at this time? Not sure why Igenex has suspended it...

There is a county lab that will do it for in-state residents only. The test is on their website, so maybe give them a call.

Why don't you call IgeneX and ask why test is suspended?

And seems like someone has posted on this forum that labcorp doing it too. Maybe do a search of the archives for duncani and see if you can find that post. It is only a vague recollection on my part, could be wrong.

Lab Corp does have a Duncani blood test. I just did it. No clue what Igenix isn't doing this anymore. I learned the same things last week.

Thanks Poppy and Jessiep for the info.
I spoke to Igenex. I was told they ran out of the necessary "ingredients" to perform the test. They are in back order... Weird! I didn't realize that this test was so popular. Does anyone know if the Labcorp test is valid?

I tested positive through Quest. That might be an option.

Apologies for adding to some old posts.

My tests came back negative in ALL of the available IGeneX tests for Babesia microti and Babesia duncani (and the FISH assay) despite being able to see unmistakable Babesia in my red blood cells using Wright's stain and a microscope. I assumed it was B. duncani due to where I live.
However, I did test positive for Babesia duncani in the Sonoma County health department test.

Google "Babesia duncani test" and a couple more companies show up as offering testing.
Best of successes at getting diagnosed and getting well!
Being sick with Babesia really sucks.

I was just told that both Quest and LabCorp have suspended babs duncani testing (supposed to be a temporary thing).
