Feeling like they got hit by a truck (exhausted, achy) and shaking in a panic?
My whole body wakes up shaking and I am overcome by fear, but I am not thinking about anything and didn't wake up from a nightmare. And it doesn`t matter if I slept 7 hours or 10 hours, if I had a nice deep sleep or a not so good sleep. At that particular time of panic, I feel like I either want to just fall back asleep immediately or die. I have a heavy fear/stress of facing life at that moment. It obviously subsides after a while when I can think much clearer and rationally. Its funny because I am known by most who know me as a very logical and rational person.
The fatigue and brain fog upon rising is also tough. It takes me at least a couple hours to be able to start thinking clearly and not be so exhausted. For the life of me and no matter how hard I fight it, I just cannot get my stuff together in the morning. I think I`m being productive, but every time I look at the clock, I`m wondering how the time went by so fast. It is almost like I`m detached from reality for a few hours.
I also have had a chronic sinus issue, where I get either yellow/green/brown discharge, and it is usually worse on the morning. I would think this is an infection? It never goes away.
If anyone has this, could this all be caused by Bartonella alone?

Sounds like you need a cortisol test. Your early morning thing might be adrenal related.
Chronic sinus infections are most often fungal.

Have you checked your blood sugar upon rising. Maybe it is low in the morning and could be adding to your symptoms?
Just a thought--sorry you are not feeling well.

I agree with Poppy and Jane.
Both make very good points about what commonly causes this.
For me, I would wake up and be disoriented-not know where I was, and this imminent feeling of doom.
Treating bartonella and mycoplasma helped this tremendously.
Sorry you are going through that. It is really hard to start the day off with that kind of feeling!
I am praying you get some relief soon.

I feel like I have cement in body, then hit by a truck and reversed back over every morning. The panic, not so much but I used to have it terribly.

I have the same symptoms as NJFitnessGuy (except the colorful discharge). It's been that way for months.
I was told this is a babesia symptoms. It messes with sleep. Could be bart too or both.
I'm treating babesia right now and my sleep is definitely bizarro still with insomnia added to the mix now. I just hope this goes away once the infection load is down.
I had my cortisol tested and it's fine.
