It's very possible you are experiencing a "herx" (proper name is Jarisch-Herxheimer reaction).
In Lyme disease it is thought that the cause of herxheimers are the result of endotoxin release, that is toxin(s) within the spirochete that are released as the Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria are killed or broken down. This may be a result of the toxin(s) itself or the body's immune response to such.
The general description is a temporary increase in symptoms, but also included is the development of new ones.

Marnie - it's pretty low doses. No risk of argyria here. I think simultaneous ACZ would defeat the purpose, no? Hey, heavy metals were the old tx for syphilis, so who knows. Maybe it's doing something more than draining my bank account.

What frequencies are you running?
Joint pain is pretty common when starting frequency treatments. Once the Lyme is reduced this should be reduced along with it.
Run 10,000 Hz last. It reduces swelling.
2016 Hz is the best Lyme frequency I have used. It only kills the active forms of Lyme. Another person and myself are currently working on an effective frequency for cyst form.
832 Hz is the most effective Bart frequency I have used.
When you say you are using only hand contacts, what do you mean by that? Do you hold a positive and negative contact?
If you are only using positive contacts you need to be grounded or the frequency is not going to penetrate very far into the body. By holding positive contacts in your hands, and grounding your feet, you create a path for the current to travel.
