Have been after Babs for a while. Malarone wasn't effective so LLMD wants Mepron. Insurance won't pay. What a shock! Any sources for cheaper cash pay, coupons, etc appreciate.

I'm also on an expensive drug that's not covered by insurance (bicillin).

I use the coupon at goodrx.com. It's the cheapest I've found.

I looked up Mepron and it looks like it takes $1000 off in my area. I hope that helps.

I don't know what dose you were on, but I was reading that doctors are beginning to give higher doses of malarone, like 4 tabs a day, to help with effectiveness. When I went up on dose, it made a big difference.
