Does anyone know of any labs that will draw for igenex? I've tried a lab at a medical center, labcorp, and quest. Quest told me they only run their own tests, and labcorp said they refuse service to that particular lab. Is this common? Is this lab blacklisted or just hard to get a sample too?

I do have an lllmd however my first test was neg so if we try iv meds only 1 month would be covered.. Thus we are trying the igenex test, but it looks like I'll have to wait till my next appt. my lllmd is about 5.5 hours away... So too far. Was wondering if anyone knew of a local New England based lab that would draw from a kit. My GP Only uses in house tests so that's out too.

Might try the outpatient lab at a local hospital, or call a walk-in clinic and see if they'd be willing to draw the blood.
Another idea is the Special Procedures clinic at a local hospital.

Be sure to get the blood drawn early in the week so it does not sit in the post office.

Hmmmm. Call another Quest. I was told they'll do the draw for $50 just a few months ago.
I also have to travel to see my doctor and try to do my blood drawn at the office.
I neglected to do that once and that's why I had to call Quest to see if they could do it.

Any Time Lab in Merrimack NH will do it for $49.00. There may be other affiliate labs closer to you.

Yes, there are often out-patient labs in hospitals which will do blood draws for you and send it out via FedEx, if you bring the kit with you from Igenex. I found one in my area for a $25 fee, although the fee may vary.
Call around and you will probably find one. I had to call a few hospitals before I found one.

Ugh the Hospital I went to told me there was no reason to send out my kit as they could do an in-house western blot int heir own lab. They didn't understand why I wanted it sent to Igenex. I will probably wait till my next appointment. The test will most likely still be negative anyway.

Some labs will do a courtesy lab draw where they simply draw the blood and you are responsible for providing the tubes and shipping the samples to your lab of choice. If you contact Igenix, they may ship you a lab kit with the tubes and instructions about shipping it back.
