Has anyone taken Protonix (Pantoprazole) with Lyme?
I am developing more pains under my ribs on the heart side & sometimes it runs along the whole diaphragm. I just got a ultrasound of gall bladder, spleen, liver & kidneys & all was reported as normal.
Sometimes I get slightly elevated liver enzymes, but this time all my blood work more or less fell within the normal range, including liver.
They now think it may be a gastric issue & prescribed Protonix?

Thanks for the input.
I have taken protonix for a few days/weeks now & it does not seem to make a difference.
The severity of the symptoms related to it go up & down, as it did before the pills. I think I will just stop taking them.

I had it orally and IV and neither helped.
I stopped it.
