I have on a new Lyme protocol. Homeopathics. Last week I know I had a herx. I lost all muscle in my legs and could hardly walk. Very weak. Now I have a fever, chills, very stuffed up with a bad cough. Is this a herx or is it a super bad cold?

With those four stmptoms, it could be either but, my money is on (cold).

Fever, chills,
stuffed up,
bad cough.

How high does the fever go?
Are you coughing up any phlegm? What color?
Does your chest hurt when you cough?

Are you getting large amounts of mucous when you blow your nose? What color?

Sore throat?
Are your tonsils inflamed...check using a flashlight and a mirror.

Palpate under the angle of the jaw to see if the tonsils and lymph nodes are enlarged.

You might be developing bronchitis or pneumonia, depending on your symptoms.
If it's viral, then a product like Sambucol (elderberry extract) will help it to clear faster.

The last time I had cold symptoms, I took double doses of elderberry extract, and it resolved in two days.
