I know that many people test positive for IGG mycoplasma. I'm curious what the average number is for high levels of IGG. Mine is 451, I am going to treat with Buhner herbs. Just wondering what others do for this.
Do you leave it alone and assume past infection, nothing to be concerned about or do you treat? How do you treat it?
Thank you

990 on one. 780 on another one a year later. I've never tried targeting it directly, but doxycycline is suppose to help and I've taken that.

My son's was around 1450.
Mine wasn't as high as his. I don't have the numbers in front of me at the moment,
Doxycycline is what helped us.

My lgG Abs is 471 currently. I am not treating it as of now.
My assumption is a lot of people have mycoplasma. So, I am looking at it as a latent or reactivated infection. I am targeting the lyme and babesia right now. The mycoplasma is something for another day. Unless the levels are determined to be hindering my recovery, I guess.
My IgM is negative for now. I was on doxycycline for 4 months though.

Do you mind if I ask what lab you are using for these results? My doc uses Quest for my kids and for both of the kids their IGG is 4 or more and then the IGM is 1500 and 3300 for each of them. Since those numbers don't correlate with yours I figured all of you must be using another lab?

My Dr feels even if it's only high IgG, that it should still be treated if it's a significant number.
We used LabCorp.
