Never had so much as a fever blister but now I have a herpes that flares up ever so often at the site of the bite. Anyone else have this?

Viruses can reactivate after getting infected with Lyme (or other infections).
The immune system just can't keep up sometimes.
I don't know if a tick can carry herpes, but there are some common, herpes strains that can resurface when you're sick.
Could be a satellite Lyme rash too. Some of the EM rashes look nothing like a bulls-eye (mine was one of them).
"Sometimes the lesions are vesicular in nature, inviting a diagnosis perhaps of herpes simplex infection. "
Mine looked more like this (example of rash similar to mine and more info):
My body was more rashy after Lyme.
