Make sure you take it with about 25 grams of fat on a full stomach. Mepron makes me comatose level tired. I could sleep my life away. Be prepared for some serious herxing and an increase in whatever babs symptoms you have the first couple of weeks. Mepron is a game changer for many. Good luck!

Mepron & Biaxin I took both like they were water when first getting sick. My LLMD just scribed me some more Mepron to test, since I had not taken any for 3 years.

I wonder if I will get a herx now & I will let you know in a few days.

Interesting enough though. On one of my last bottles of mepron, I decided to open up the bottle & scoop out the mepron that was stuck to the sides of the plastic bottle.

I estimate that I had a total of 2 1/2 teaspoons, maybe 3 but it would be pushing it. So where 1 teaspoon did nothing, overdosing made me feel an impending doom. Sweats, vibrations, trembling, heart palps & I had to lay down for the next few hours.

I am not sure if it was a big herx or just overdosing?

Mepron put me in a better mood because it gave me energy, go figure....no herx at all.

Something to keep in mind, if you start a new med on a Friday, you might not be able to reach the doctor over the weekend if you react badly to it.

I'd start with one at a time, just to know how you're reacting to each, but that's me. Follow your doctor's advice.
