Is CD 57 test a good indication of current lyme infection vs. past? I'm getting my results from Igenex in the next few days and am very curious.
Thanks!

I am understanding that the CD57 is an indication of immune function.
Mycotoxins, lyme can lower CD57.
It isn't necessarily an indication of current infections or of how the person is feeling.
I was feeling my best after IV abx and had my first CD57.
It was 11.
I pale to think what it is now...

I think Greta's right - it's an indication of the strength of your immune system.
However, mine was 146 and I was ill. So I think it matters most when it's very low, like the 11 count! That means low, and should rise with treatment.
