Its getting worse. Neurontin didnt help. I have to take another. Im allowed three
I took abx after skeeter bites a few weeks ago and i was ok...i might just do that again
Im trying to remember what tends to trigger trigem...i know dental work and tick bite

I don't know. I haven't had a trigeminal neuralgia attack in quite a long time (knocking on wood).
I never associated it with anything. It just seemed to come on suddenly. The only thing that eased the pain was percocet and laying still in bed. I've never taken neurontin.

Mine can be triggered by neck/jaw related issues. Anything that over stresses my neck and jaw can cause a flare up.
I too have found alot of nymphs crawling around and am on the look out for sx's. Sorry to hear the neurontin is not helping!

- Same here.. usually my neck. I know it came back full force when I tried to get off of Cortef, so that tells me that inflammation is part of it.
Kayak.. maybe the neurontin will kick in SOON?

Don't know where the location of your face pain is - I had nerve pain across my face that was caused by cranial bones out of place and when cranial work was done, it subsided - just an idea for you -

i slept good with two neurontins then as i move moving around this morning i am getting twinges my neck has been extra stiff and crampy i am not sleeping on bed cuz of construction and there are skeetres with west nile andEEE here so it is kinda nerveracking-no fever thos
my paine is on left side this time...it takes turns but usually not both at once
it is like knife from spine going thru head to back of my eye...all around eye and ear have sharp shooting paine..also cheek bone... i do feel it is from inflam of c5...
also...i took a diflucan just in case a fungal sinusitis or ear infection was going on
and i did have that nymph on my nect...im trying not to believe one might have gotten in my ear
once when riding a deer fly got in my ear and i got so dizzy i had to get off ...it was awful...i lost so much money not finishing show
i can feel many twinges on other side of face now so im gonna get away form comeputer
thanks for ideas
oh i took big dose of abx this morning also just in case i did get bit
