I have total Adrenal exhaustion. I was using Isocort for this with not to many side effects. But now they stopped making this product. The regular hydro cortisone is not agreeing with me. Any Ideas for alternatives? Thanks,GT44

Is this the bovine derived isocort or the plant based type?

My young-adult son has just started on Vital Adapt (an herbal blended tonic) made by Natura Health Products which we got from his LLMD to address his adrenal fatigue. I think it is only available through healthcare practitioners.
Btw - I am in no way affiliated with this or any other products or companies mentioned, just trying to help.
Here are some therapeutic actions listed on the informational sheet which came with it:
"Broad-spectrum super tonic, suited for all types of people, intended to be taken as a daily tonic for an extended period of time;
Tonifies and balances the endocrine/hormonal system (adrenal/thyroid);
A potent redox/antioxidant, protects and vitalizes the liver, cardiovascular system, kidneys, immune system and brain - relieves mental fatigue;
Improves the body's ability to withstand stress and its cumulative effects;
Offers deep immune support by increasing resistance to a wide range of immunological stresses;
Regulates and normalizes hormones; and
Reduces fatigue and jet lag"
He is also going to be taking NT Factor Energy by Researched Nutritionals in a couple of weeks.
All of these are in addition to starting low-dose compounded bio-identical Hydrocortisone.

Poppy, The Isocort that I was using was the adrenal glands taken from sheep. Is no longer available. Thanks everyone else for your help. Love You All! GT44

The reason I asked is that the kind from sheep has been replaced by an herbal type, by the same company, I believe. Online reviews mostly are positive for the new kind, but of course it is going to be an individual reaction.
