My husband has been really sick with shortness of breath, fatigue, heart flutters and he has had radioactive stress test for his heart and also been tested for everything else it could be. I asked if they would do a lyme test.
I have lyme as do one of my children. We live in the woods.
The western blots showed positive bands of 66 and 41 on the IGG. But the dr. called and said he did not have it. What do you all think.

campermom, to me your husband's symptoms sound like they could also be from Babesia.
There is no completely reliable test for Lyme. Which lab did the Western Blot? Be aware labs such as Quest and LabCorp do not list all the Lyme-specific bands (31 and 34) that IgeneX does.
Do you and your child see a Lyme knowledgeable doctor? Has this doctor evaluated your husband?

"41: Flagella or tail. This is how Borrelia burgdorferi moves around, by moving the flagella. Many bacteria have flagella. This is the most common borreliosis antibody.
66: Heat shock protein. This is the second most common borrelia antibody."

You did not say if your husband was under the care of a Lyme-literate doctor nor did you mention which state you are in (we are assuming MN from your previous posts).
Please let us know so we can help you by sending you information regarding LLMDs in your state.
Your husband's symptoms certainly do sound like Babesiosis, one of the co-infections which come with Lyme. Even though Lyme disease is a clinical diagnosis, he needs to be tested through IGeneX Labs in Palo Alto, CA.

I am under the care of a llmd in MN. My husband has been seeing our family practice dr. to rule out the heart and leukemia and all the things that they thought it might be.
I will make an appt. for him with my llmd.
I thought that his symptoms seems like Babesiosis also. I will ask my llmd if he can get the testing before we meet with him. It takes 3 months to get in for a visit.
My daughter was sick a few months ago and she tested positive with a lab corp test for band 23. The family practice dr. put her on 4 weeks of doxy and she also has an appt. with my llmd.
My daughter's tests were through labcorp and my husband's were through the Mayo.
Thanks everyone!!!! We live in the woods and I am really wanting to move.
