My low-carb no sugar diet has caused me to lose a fair mount of weight - How, or does, the breakdown of the fat cells cause increased herxing? and, does the herxing affect the meds I am on (as prescribed by my LLMD)? There is NO G.I. herxing

- No sure how you define low-carb but remember you require carbohydrates to live. You may be going too low if you are loosing too much weight.
Carbohydrates are food, real food. And there is nothing wrong with them, in their natural whole state (well, we do have to cut them to cook them, of course, so not whole in that sense but a COMPLEX carb straight from planet earth, not a box, can or bottle).
Are you getting enough whole healthful food? Enough calories and proper balance of protein, carbs and fats from excellent sources? -

- Herxing does not so much affect medicines as it strains your liver & kidneys and makes everything harder. Many medicines can be hard on liver & kidneys, too, though, adding to the spirochetal die-off load that causes a herxheimer.
I hope you are on good liver support; hope detail here helps. WATER, too. Be sure to drink water.
LIVER & KIDNEY SUPPORT & and several HERXHEIMER support links, too. -

- As for the changes in fat cells and how this change may affect a herx.
Be sure to do a lot of deep slow breathing as when fat cells break down, much of their "volume" is actually expelled in CO2 through our breath.
It can be very hard on the liver to have sudden or dramatic weight loss (again, liver support should help as well as being sure you are getting adequate nutrients / calories - and water).
Gradual is best, if weight loss is desired.
Weight loss can also involve muscle loss so be sure you are getting adequate protein - and fat. -
