When you herx how do you feel and what sx do you get?

I feel very weak and dizzy. My ears are all muffled and my eyes are blurry.

My arms and legs feel like jello and I feel like I am going paralysed.
I also feel like I am about to loose consciousness and feel very confused.

Also have bad heart palps and my Bp and hrt rate are up.
My head feels like a balloon floating.

Is any of this normal for a herx?

Maya, what abx/herbs are you taking? This would be, at minimum, a Babesia herx for me. You could be herxing for many pathogens, depending on what you are taking.

Are you detoxing? Water? Epsom salt baths?

Herxing is hard, but it has always helped me make progress. Be smart. You don't need to overdo it.

I know you'll get through this.

I agree with Boxermom. What are you taking????

Don't mistake an adverse drug reaction to a herx. (I did and I now have permanent nerve damage from levaquin, I had trouble breathing on that too).

If you are having trouble breathing from the meds, I'd back off. Honestly, you don't have to kill yourself herxing to get better.

Another drug may agree with you better.

Today I feel a tiny bit less dizzy but my head still feels very heavy and foggy and I am super weak with body pain and very tired.

This really sucks

I've had some of your symptoms before. Do you feel like this after ozone treatments, or artemisinin or both? We are all different, so it's different for each of us with a few of the same symptoms.

Have you had 23&me test done yet to see what genetic issues you have? It's possible you can't detox well. Coffee enemas help me (nothing else works as well). I highly recommend them.

Killing the bugs is good, but detoxing out their waste is just as important.

Is the artemisinin new for you? If it is I'd say it sounds like a herx to me.

Does anyone also find herxing comes in waves.

This morning I was cleaning my house and now I am flat on my back with dizziness, heart palps, chest pain, feet numb and my whole body is sore and vibrating. How come u can feel fine sometimes and then not others?

Does the physical activity move more toxins and then you are flat out again?

Artimesia made me dizzy/whoozy. Ozone can too. Neither treatment worked for me. Good luck. Everyone is different.

I found ART to be overly stimulating on my CNS. I took the liposomal version and it is suppose to have better penetration into the brain.....

I could not tell if what I felt was a herx or side effects/adverse reaction. I thought I read somewhere that it can be neurotoxic for some people but not sure. I would also get dizzy and motion sickness type of symptoms. Interesting is I did not get the same reaction from malarone, mepron or coartem.

Hey jlcd, sorry that I haven't gotten back to you yet. Just been a rocky few days. I do the kind of ozone where they take the blood out and mix it with ozone.

What kind of UV light because my LLNP got a azura and just bought an ozone machine this past week but the direct IV ozone is what i will be doing.

Are these typical herx symptoms for YOU? Everyone is different, so I would go with what is normal for you. If not, then maybe you are coming down with something, as it's certainly the season for flu, viruses, etc.

I've had several instances where i assumed wrongly that it was "just" a herx or just more weird Lyme stuff, but I was actually coming down with something. Over the summer, I got walking pnemonia, and wrongly assumed it was just Lyme stuff so deferred going to the doctor, even though it felt different, so I should have known better. Lesson learned.

Yes. I had that happen yesterday. My memory is shot and i took this intramax supplement which has 450 trace

minerals in it. Forgot and then took abx 30 minutes later and had a wicked herx. My heart heart and bp were

increasing by the second. Yikes that was scary.
