According to this study (below), lemon essential oil strongly inhibits growth of microorganisms that are in multi-species biofilms.
Note that this study was in vitro, and that lemon essential oil is not the same as lemon juice. The oil is made from the rind.
Also note citric acid does not agree with some people and may or may not be good for Lyme patients. And there may be pesticides on the peels. Check with your doctor first before trying any new supplement.
