So it seems I got the dreaded Flu or some sort of a bacterial infection and since about a week ago my heart rate has been at 98-100 and my pressure has gone up a bit too but not too bad.
Went to Cardio and he said the heart is fine just the flu and to take Zithromax! But taking Zithromax gives me more palps and I am already prone to palpitations and really sensitive to meds!!
Wondering if anyone here has experienced this and what helped? I'm doing Gluthatione and some Oxygen inhalation but not too helpful
The worst part is it's effecting my sleep as the heart is beating too fast and am uncomfortable when I'm lying down....
Anyways, any ideas appreciated.

Hi Chootik, I had the flu two years ago (a bad case) and I cannot remember if my heart rate was up, but I'm assuming it was. I ended up going to urgent care and getting Tamiflu and an antibiotic. I had a cold and ear infection with it. I felt like death and was so weak I could barely move. Sorry you are going through this. The Tamiflu helped me recover from the flu in a few days instead of weeks, which may help reduce youre hear symptom.

I have the flu now & no inc heart rate. I have not had heart palps for a while now though, although many times it feels as if it is on the verge, but never comes.
Soar throat, running nose & respiratory pain & infection I do have though. As well as aggravated Lyme symptoms, body pains & joint pains.
