Does plaquenil really provide relief? Does it reduce inflamation and swelling? I'm hoping anyone can give me their feedback!
Thanks!!

It is suppose to increase cellular alkaline levels to make certain ABX more effective. Some also say it is a mild cyst buster.

I have had flare ups of joint pain and once flare up starts it takes at least few weeks of taking plaquenil for pain and stiffness to go away.

I have not had a lot of joint swelling as much as pain and stiffness.

And I usually take it for few months and then take a brake.

My doc just put me on it for my bone and joint pain, which has increased recently and we don't know why. I didnt know it was a cyst buster. I'm on jap knotweed to kill lyme but no other lyme based rx, only herbs and supps. Hopefully that's ok?
