After 2 years of being a symptomatic I

became pregnant. *NOTE i was extremely

unhealthy and mostly bedridden for years w

every coinfection.

Anyways I now have a

beautiful HEALTHY, intelligent 4 year

old, who has the brain of a 10 year old

His cognition and IQ surpass mine (even

when I was in remission) He

out-wits me in every way and tells me when

I'm not

making sense. All i did was

take amoxy once a day, have a

cesection, and not breastfeed

Besides those few things, i did

nothing different. Actually, I had a very

easy pregnancy - I didn't even have

'regular' pregnancy symptoms.

Unfortunately, I have now relapsed, but

at least my son is as healthy as can be.

So my point is when you reach remission

don't be scared of passing it on to your

child.

Yes, I know everyone is different but im

just sharing my experience/story.

HK, I am so happy to know that your son is healthy. You are a great mom who took all the proper precautions to help him.

I am sorry you have relapsed. I hope you are getting treated and that you respond quickly.

Your post will give hope to many who are in the same situation. Thank you.

Congrats on your healthy boy! Just curious though, how do u know when to re-start Lyme meds? I mean, sometimes my relapses don't last too long and I can just get through sick days without meds.
