And if so can or does it make you herx?
I was fine this morning till taking 1000mg vit c with gleutithione and now I am shaking, out of it, weak, dizzy and feel like my heart is racing and am super aggitated.
Could this be a herx/ detox reaction to the vit c? Anyone else experience this?

My stomach says NO to it, so I haven't taken any in years.
Maybe you've upset a balance of minerals.

Or I guess I should ask, can the detoxing be more symptom producing then the killing?
It seems to be for me

Anyone else want to give an opinion on this?
Can the detoxing feel worse?

I don't think vitamin c by itself would cause those kind of symptoms. At least we have never had them.

Vitamin C could be killing some unwanted pathogens or parasites in your upper GI tract. Normally stomach acid is used to sterilize the upper tract, because acid kills pathogens. For those who have overgrowth and low stomach acid, the introduction of vit C can cause die off, since vit c is very acidic. Think of candida, h.pylori, or other bacteria.
But this is not the only possible explanation. Perhaps detox could also have some effect, who knows?

Can taking vitamin c alone kill parasites because I am taking it and seem to be passing worms but I am not taking any salt.
Anyone have any ideas?
