As posted yesterday full of calamities. Went to bed at 9:45 very long day. Never in the history of Lyme has this taken place. I was real nauseated hope sleep would help. Nope I can bearly walk from Sunday. Made it to bathroom and both ends were giving my the what for. I so thirsty sipping on Grn Tea all night.

Took body temp armpit it was 102.7 = 103.7. So by now still freezing then I got hotter Ive been waking up ever 1.5-2 hours. I know I need sleep. At 1am took Tylenol rested and hot. Woke up at 3am body temp 101.6 still armpit I was drinking iced tea and still very thirsty. Still too early for Tylenol.

Actual fever is 102.6 I sip on tea until it's warmer in my mouth before I swallow. My face and arms and every where are on fire. Only puked once and the other was like a firehose on fire.

I'm going to try and rest again. Then I can take Tylenolpm
I will post as day breaks and sun comes up.

Wow I never saw this common not ever.

Please deal free to txt me. I'm trying to decide if I can get to Springfeild Mo. No Lyme in Ark. My skin is on fire. Maybe.
Next time I wake up I will do a Luke warm/cold bath. I'm afraid of falling.

And now for my current temp reads 101.6 means 102.6
Add one if auxiliary [confused] no Drs here.

It's time for more Tylenol for fever but stomach and liver say. No way no how. I need fever to fight bacteria. But just how high should I leave it.

The very thought of laying here again all day and Lay in this chair again and fever lousy sleep. I'm not sure how I'm ging to get to the Dr. A high fever from Lyme. Bad combo.

It's now 5:30. Very little sleep and burning up. Very sorry Boit all the txts I type when I remember things. It's been a very upsetting night

Thanks for listening or I should say reading.

Don't know your history, but in my opinion if the tickbite is not recent - say in the last month - then a fever could have another cause.

If on antibiotics - especially if diarrhea - then it could be c. difficile.

Also need to consider flu or virus as a possible cause.

Majoprity of lyme patients with long term infections - greater than a year - run low body temp unless they also have other infections such as ehrlichia. Babs can cause high fever alternating with chills - but temp usually fluctuates during the day and is not constantly high.

If fever does not come down to normal with regular doses of aspirin or Tylenol then consider going to an urgent care facility or ER. In adults temp over 101 is cause for concern - easy to get dehydrated for example.

This is not medical advice -just my opinion based on hubby's experiences.

Yes my body temp is not normally 97. These were hi fevers for me. They actually got up to 103. Very sick very week and tired. I've know idea how I'm going to make it today.

Sometimes Lyme can go dormant the. Pow there it is. Ugly and painful.

Sounds like a stomach virus to me.

True.. if your temp continues to spike to over 103 .. call 911 or go to the hospital. That is too high for an adult.

Keep us posted on how you are doing!
