Hello! I am currently on malarone and my doctor wants to add in either biaxin or zith. He didn't seem concerned which one, so I am wondering for Babesia which has worked better for people? Also he thinks I may have bart as well. Has Biaxin or Zith worked better for your Bart?
If possible I would definitely like to get Babs because I'm on Malarone right now but if it could hit Bart too obviously that would be awesome. Maybe they both do a good job, just though I would ask in case!
Also, am I am correct in thinking they are essentially the same drug is that correct thing?
Thanks!

Thank you! I see more people saying that they have better results with biaxin overall, so maybe I'll ask my doctor if we can try biaxin first.
