I tested ART positive for Bartonella a while back and never treated it, but just picked up A-Bart. My Dr. has had me on 1000mg per day of Ceftin for the past two months.
Could I add the A-Bart to the Ceftin or would the A-Bart be more effective if I went off the Ceftin or any abx all together for a month first and started the A-Bart by itself?

I can't remember what ceftin hits. You can do BW herbs with abx, just not together as abx will destroy herbs.
A-bart is effective for some people, and for others, not. So effective means managing bart symptoms. Some people go too fast or too many drops on it and it no longer works for them, so go slow. I've always stayed at a low dose.

Ceftin is not a Bart drug. It is for lyme spirochetes and other types of bacteria.
Bart needs at least 2 intra-cellular drugs. i.e. Biaxin/Doxy, Zith / Rifampin, Rifampin / Doxy, etc.
