Had my lumbar puncture today. It was not a normal slow drip, doc said a bit faster than normal but not by much.

I will tell you what though, my 6 week pressure, photophobia and headache are gone.

Third one and if need be I will have another and another after that.

They warn you about a headache after. I have never had anything but instant relief.

Did not hurt in the least. Once you have known the pure hell of Lyme pain anything else easy breezy.

Just my experience and I know they are not for everyone.

It must have relieved some intercranial pressure.

The elevated intercranial pressure is a nightmare, for sure.

Was the puncture to relieve the pressure, or was it to test for elevated WBC etc?
