My youngest son just got back his CT scan results. Sees doc on June 5th. The report says he has 5 Schmorl's nodes.
I've been reading about them and it says infection could be a source.
Has anyone been diagnosed with these? Has it been a source of back pain?
At 19, he also has 4 broad based disc buldges at l2-l3, l3-l4, l4-l5 and l5-s1.
He has a lot of lower back pain and some upper back discomfort. This is why the CT scan was done. He is also HLA-B27 positive so were looking for anklyosing spondilitis. Don't think the inflammation shows on a CT scan.
