Yesterday I worked in yard digging up and replanting some flowers in my yard..and mowed our huge yard.
That night my entire legs from ankle to hips felt like someone had hammered my bones with a big mallet. All the muscles feel like they burn. my upper arms ache.
Is this a Lyme reaction? I have never had this level of discomfort like this after working in yard.
Thanks

I have magneseum malate Dr. recommended but was waiting to start it till gut issues settled.
I will try it and see if I tolerate it now.
Thanks!

Oh deer, oh no!
Have you been checked for bartonella? Bone pain is often a symptom of Bartonella, specifically the Bartonella - HA- Listening to music really loud and can`t think! Give me a second to turn it down.
The second the music went down I had it...
Bartonella quintana. Also referred to as trench fever and/or shin bone fever.
One way to figure out if you have Bartonella is to push on your shin bone with your fingers up and down your leg. Is it tender? If so, might want to consider Bartonella.

Oh, and if you have gut issues, please don`t add to them by adding magnesium. Especially if the doc was purposely waiting to start it later, as you mentioned. Just my unprofessional opinion.
I am quite sure TuTu would have also not advised taking it had she known you already are dealing with gut issues and the doctor was wanting you to wait. I can`t speak for her, but that is my best guess.

Nope...didn't know "deer" had gut issues. Many forms of mag do not affect the gut .. or very minimally.
Stay away from oxide and citrate... Mag glycinate might be fine. Malate: .. maybe. I think it caused stomach pain for me because it's from malic acid.

- I do not think your reaction is at all abnormal for even "just" lyme if there were even such a thing.
What you describe is actually VERY typical. The learning curve can surprise us especially with seasonal changes and we have a little energy to engage in activity. Our bodies also often just don't give us a warning sign that we are in way - way - over our heads.
Hope you feel better, though. It may take at least a week before you might be able to do much. Remember to pace yourself. Think - realistically what you might be able to do and then maybe consider half of that. Even then, take it in short increments with rest periods.
Take care. -
