I have a very strange symptom. It feels like my teeth and jaw are being squeezed together, like narrowing. The roof of my mouth and bottom are like an inch higher and lower than they used to be. I know it sounds strange but my jaw feels very tight and everything feels compressed.
I remember when I originally got sick, I had bad jaw pain, inflammation of the muscles around my neck and jaw and a lot of jaw clenching and weird teeth issues. What could this be?

When I recently had a bone scan, I was diagnosed with Osteopenia and am now supplementing with calcium and D3. Could you be low in calcium? Jaw pain is listed on this site in the Lymenet Guidelines to Lyme Disease also. If you decide it's Lyme, maybe you could try Cats Claw and supplementing with calcium.

Also how about some magnesium supplementation to relax the muscles?

Accupuncture can really help to relax those muscles. It's the only thing that helped my DD when her TMJ pain was at it's worst.

My husband had a pituitary tumor which caused acromeglia. He was diagnosed with TMJ because he had jaw problems but it turned out that his jaw was growing!
Just something else for you to look into. He went to several different dentists before one though to check for this. He had the tumor removed and he is fine now.

Jamers, just trying to clarify,do you mean compressed like the sidesof you face coming closer together or up and down like clenching your teeth?
I noticed that one side of my teeth seems to have moved inward , I think it's because I tend to rest my arm on that side of my face when I sleep, didn't know that it could change my jaw bone structure.

Thank you all! Perhaps some magnesium is in order and would help with detoxing candida. It seems this may be related to toxicity?
kidsgotlyme- Acupuncture is a great suggestion. I've always had help from acupuncture.
jkmom- Wow!! That sounds crazy! I will definitely keep that in mind if the pain continues.

dogmom2- its actually both. It feels like my jaw is narrowing and causing my bones to change shape. My top pallet feels higher up, like its being bent. Same with the bottom. I notice more depth in my mouth now and it feels more narrow.

I think this generates from very tight neck and jaw muscles. I know Candida can do that to me. But isn't Babesia also know for that?
