Please help w any info or advice or just anything on strokes, as I'm experiencing every symptom and excuse any grammar errors bc I'm not able to think right now.
For the last few months I've been dx w an arrythmia and have been experiencing these heart 'episodes', heart pain, tingling, dizzyness, brain weirdness, tachycardia etc. And have been to the er 3 times this week alone bc of the severity of symptoms. Almost laughable right. Lyme patients know better than to go to ER Esp me ha But thaats how bad i felt. I'm not afraid of death, I'm afraid of feeling the way i do and just need relief of the pain. Sadly the relief doesn't ever come and the SX are so bad my body betrays me A gain by putting me in that fight or flight state. It's a lose lose.
also just to mention the attacks have been more severe every month since they began in Feb
Now this morning I woke up feeling brain dead, which has progressed throughout the day. All i am able to do is stare. Ex. it took me 20 minutes to put on my shoes bc staring at them. my friend brought me something Earlier. I brought it in the house and came back out and asked him where it was. SEVERE numbness tingling in face and mouth in side n out (first whOle face, then only left, and then my whOle face again) also neck tightening and swelling, some jaw pain, sudden sharp headache that lasted 2 minutes and muscle weakness, esp left arm And right foot but it's everywhere. And like i said EXTREME CONFUSION.
I really don't want to go to the hospital or call another ambulance. My mom now hates me because of my new symptoms and tells me I'm crazy, do nothing to help others, am a waste of space, belong in a nut house and to just die already. It's sad bc 1 she n my brother have lyme so should understand And 2 she has always been a great mother to me.
i just hate being so damn scared of having to live w these attacks and in SO much pain, esp after being sx free for 5 years.
But anyway do you think this is a stroke? I remember thinking i was suffering from mini strokes a cpl months ago but then the heart pain became severe so i thought heart. History of daily symptoms since feb, fog, extreme fatigue, ankle and foot tingling, brain fog and have suffered about 7 'attacks' since this started.
But today was new and different. How long can a major stroke last before you die ? Do you think that that's whats happening ? I'm so lost and without any family now too

Also ive had 2 occurrences of blindNess in eye, a lot of blurry vision, trouble focusing bc of a new astigmatism which is getting worse and one eye sometimes droops a tad, and depression.
Also i developed all this when I stayed taking adderall AND antidepressants but wasn't that bad and i have attacks while these 2 drugs are in my system.
Thanks, I'm just so lost now,

That's terrible HK, I'm so sorry! You say you have been sx-free for five years, but did you ever have a llmd or llnd? If so, could you go back to him or her now? I think most docs have some time set aside for those "semi-emergency" cases who need to get in to see them right away, instead of waiting for weeks.
Although this sounds like more than a mere "semi-emergency"! Were they able to find anything when you went to the ER?

Did they do a CT scan or MRI and if so what were the results?
Don't listen to your mom, it might be just her Lyme talking.
I agree with lymieloo, if the CT scan did not reveal anything, you need to call a LLMD and see if they can get you in on a cancellation.

Thanks for replying ! Yes, i have been seeing llmd since January and taking antibiotics here and there. I'm just fearful of them messing me up more, as they seem to always do, but I try my best
They found nothing w echocardiogram (preformed a month ago) blood work, ekg, or the useless xray which wasn't needed. I asked for an mri but she denied that.
It def is an emergency but no hospital tn. My symptoms are gone prob after i took ativan (maybe do to a so I'm just cringing scared and too brain numb to to even think, I was at a first care around noon... mother drove me while screaming about how pathetic and wasteful i am,
I asked her to come in the room (I was hoping shed felt bad (remember - i wasnt thinking) and was going in for support. FAIL she walked in like a know everything yall type and convinced the dr i was crazy lyme infected, and pathetic, in those words. and so the dr looked and spoke to me like i was pathetic and crazY (kinda funny cause for 6 months my mom was bedridden, and the symptoms scared her half to death. N when compared to my nightmare. How could people do something like that to someone helpless, defenseless terrified crying girl just begging to be heard. But no they had other lyme ppl to help and laugh about pics and about me. I was just there so my mom n doc could enjoy a good laugh over my pathetic craziness All while I'm unable to feel my face for the first time stab like pin sensations, mouth, can barely talk the doc just like stared at my misery without saying anything. that in itself was hell.
also mom sais it only anxiety and adderal causing this while the dr creepily watched me cry. Made me feel like a corpse, like i wasnt a person worthy or deserving of ....anything. another reason I HATE female doctors. All mine are mall even my gyno who makes me feel a mil times more comfortable than the lady I had to see one.
And then the two happily went on to talk about helping other lyme patients this doc might hav, and showing pictures of my brother While I sit there 'dying' crying, feeling betrayed and alone, WITH all my very real and dangerous stroke symptoms
plu severe bells palsey sensation And for the first time And all they do is laugh in front of my tears while in their own happy conversation.
Sorry for ranting I'm feeling a bit better. Ativan helped some so massive stroke ruled out now i guess since im feeling better, but so what Was it? a serious tia then? I didn't develop bells palsy.
What do you all think. Please, I'm begging, even if you could only share a couple words. Thanks

No when i was in the er yesterday it was from heart attack sx i told her i didn't think I was having a heart attack but that there was something seriously wrong. I wasn't having the stroke symptoms yest but still asked for mri or cat. She denied. I also asked her to check for blood cots. She told me she would run the 2 but before coming in to explain and discharge, she tells me that she only run the basic test and not the 99 percent chance of accuracy one (cause that would cost a lot and took 8 hours to complete. I was so pissed. I already had the other one done and also I needed THAT tset bc it would show clots in brain

I hate how Western Med docs can make us feel so ashamed. We wouldn't be going to the ER if we weren't very ill and terrified, knowing we will be treated like this.
I know you need your mother desperately to support you but you might find more support here than what she is giving you.
Did you have any slurred speech? I am def not a doctor but just curious. I am a speech pathologist and most of my tia patients had slurred speech.
Do you think this could be a horrible herxheimer reaction from the antibiotics?
If the Ativan helped, do you think this could have been a full blown panic/anxiety attack? That can mimic a heart attack.
I really hope you are feeling better. When you are calm, maybe you can talk to your mom about how this made you feel. Try to stay calm, no matter what she says.
She can't be thinking clearly or she would not have treated you this way, I think.

I have a question. I did ask (w tears in my eyes) if she world order the ct. She said NOO. This was after telling her i have migraines, mental fog, brain waves, brain, anemia. And of course the heart pain and severe fatigue developed 3 months ago, eye blurryness, focus probs, and went blind twice.
She only ordered a d dimer and xray (joke cause I had one 2 days prior)
So the question is who can is who can i talk to at the hospital about this so I can have the ct or mri done
would this be considered negligence? I already have after effect symptoms of the stroke so I should sue if i could, buT i wouldn't.

THANK U ALL SO VERY MUCH ! IDK WHAT I'D DO WITHOUT YOU. they told me nothing about the cat scan (i had 2 CT done bc i didn't trust the first hospital staff what soever) and no I'm not crazy. Neither of the hospitals said anything besides a mumbling 'fine' and they wouldn't let me see it. Not like i could interpret it but so my own gP could or future neurologist.
shortly aftet arriving at the first (and supposedly) l(fiat ct scan) my male nurse was all giddy were the rest of my non doctor staff) but when i was getting ready to leave i asked for the video he promised me and before I could even day a word he was charging down the halls. I have to pick up my prescription tomorrow that I had left so ill ask about it
Second experience 3 days latee at a different hospital pretty much same thing. Maybe cause Im not insured? Idk but again not one single detail on the test, plus they made me wake 2 hours longer Thabo they had told me the c weight would be. Could they be hiding something? trust me I'm aware of how crazy that sounds but w the way that were acting and the vibes given of just didn't match, ,,,, sooooo nervous and me not
Can anyone help me think of a diagnosis , no matter how deadly. They're v only options. Please and thank you Comes and goes - tachycardia arrythmia Neck swelling and sharp stabbing pain this is my area!

Which anti-depressant are you on? It makes a difference when it comes to your heart.
You can go down to the hospital at any time and request a copy of the CT scan. It is your right.

Shifts in brain blood/oxygen flow or hypoperfusion can cause the symptoms you're experiencing...
An fMRI (Functional MRI)or SPECT scan might be more revealing for these issues if you want documentation.

Thanks all. I think i was in such a state of panic, it drove me mad and my body out of wack. I was taking celexa, and since coming off of it I've been doing much better, regarding the panic attacks. My fatigue and brain fog is still at an all time high, but the heart attacks / stroke symptoms and heart pain have subsided.
The only thing that was found at the hospital was a uti. I was prescribed keflex to be taken 4x a day and am about to take my first dose. Seems like a lot to me but idk. Has anyone had experience w this drug ?
Also the doc informed me that there were 3 stains and to check online after the results were in to see which strain i had. Is this important? It seems a bit weird that the results would be online, and plus I forgot how to log in and everything else.
I don't even have the normal uti sx, so this is pretty strange to me. No burning, pain, odor, color change, or change in frequency. The only sx i can think to contribute to a uti thru research are dull cramps on sides of stomach, body chills, and a slight off and on again fever.
