In February of this year I started getting sciatica. Within a month the pain moved to my sacral area making it impossible for me to sit.. By the end of April I had severe rectal pain and had to take oxycodone for a week.

My Doctor is still not sure if it's my diverticulosis that became infected or Lyme? After one week on flagyl/cipro, all symptoms left.

I hate to blame everything on lyme. I have severe diverticulosis and to my knowledge never had diverticulitis but the Dr. thinks it could have been that..

I just never heard of rectal pain with lyme. My lyme Dr. says she has, anyone else?
