Hello all, I was waiting another six months to write a success story here to share with you all. Years back this forum was the world to me and now I am back, but had to change my display name. I recognize many of the names and it gave me comfort. I am struggling
Anyhow I was in remission for 2 and a half years and was waiting for that magical three year window. Unfortunately, I relapsed about six weeks ago rather hard. I have the brain fog back, eye issues and a massive swollen knee.
Currently I am on Zithromax and ceftin under my LLMD . I go one week with the fog and then one week with the swollen knee. Back and forth. My question to anyone:
What treatment worked the best for your swollen knee(s)? Do feel as though there is a certain abx/herb the hits the knee the best? Has anyone had abx therapy injected into the the knee?
My synovial sack I so inflamed and my LLMD feels as though tthe bacteria is in the sack and surrounding tissues.
It is tough to be sick again but I feel comfort on this site. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Blessings to you all . Yours. Brian 66

My knees and ankles have chronic swelling. The severity of the swelling varies from time to time, but even when all of my other Lyme symptoms have improved, the knee and ankle swelling remains. Go figure.

Sounds all to familiar. How long has the swelling been going on and does anything help, May it all heal soon. Brian66

My daughter had knee swelling. It seems it is very common with kids with lyme, said my doctor.
She got very fast rid of it, when we started photon therapy. Before, it took ages to get symptoms down (with Buhner, Cowden, dr. K's products, plus homeopathy ...)
