Hello- does anyone have an opinion on the Buhner Protocol and can I do it without medical supervision? Most of all, will it help chronic Lyme that has not improved with antibiotics? I live in Tx., don't have a dr, been in treatment on and off for about 6 years and continue to decline in health. I don't know where to go and what to do anymore. Thanks!

There's also a yahoo group called fightinglymewithbuhner
Yes, people treat with the Buhner herbs. Sometimes they can't take antibiotics.
He's written good books too - you can start with "Healing Lyme."

I did the Buhner protocol (the old one), and it did help my borrelia, but I took his herbs for 2 years and still kept relapsing.
Abx never really were my thing. I took them just in the beginning, but felt worst on them. So did my daughter. We went fully alternative.
I am now running a thread on the Tesla wand, that you can buy for 25 dollars. A device using high frequencies. I do think it helps quite a lot.
I had no longer lyme when I started my Tesla wand, but my health was declining due to other infections (jaw, gut, skin, vagina, sinuses, arthritis, you name it)...
They are all under control after 6 months on Tesla. I also added recently a super anti-oxidant called Megahydrate that is showing itself amazingly well.
The scientist who invented it was LOADED with mercury, autist as a kid, and he detoxed himself basically with it.
