Didn't read the article, but it's difficult to get an accurate vitamin C level measured in the body- was told so water soluble, washes out quickly...

Years ago D3 was taken for psoriasis (autoimmune).
Using mouse peritoneal mast cells, we investigated the effects of 1α,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 (calcitriol) on mast cell proliferation and histamine release.
Unfortunately...
In contrast, ***anti-IgE antibody-dependent histamine release *** was not affected by calcitriol.
