I've been to SO many specialists about these disabling headaches. Headaches start with nasal congestion, then worsens severely to pain with nausea and vomiting. I've been told it was sinusitis, possible allergies, just migraines with no underlying cause. But I am wondering if these are all symptoms of my Lyme or confection? Has anyone experienced the congestion with pain as a result of Lyme or TBI?? Thanks. Oh, and an older family member started aging the same symptoms (not diagnosed).

when I eat carbs I get congested and have to spit, gagging.
Headaches and nausea would go with yeast too.
If I don't eat carbs,no congestion.

Yes. I have had most of those symptoms but the cause has varied. At different times it has been caused by sinus infections, Lyme and co, or CPN.
So yes I'd definitely investigate an infectious cause since it sounds like you've tried just about everything else, but it can be hard to pinpoint which one!

Thanks. Tell me about it! I underwent that sinus surgery to correct a bad deviated septum- which absolutely reduced the frequency of sinusitis episodes.
When congestion on one side of my face occurs, then the severe vomiting starts. Everything gets real dizzy. So, various docs conclude that I get migraines- but no one can pinpoint what causes them.
What's most confusing now is that my father experiences such headaches. I'm just trying to figure out if my symptoms are classic of Lyme or other TBI? But from the responses here, it does not appear that way- just any number of possibilities.
