Hi guys so I'm on Malarone for Babs treatment. To my knowledge Malarone is a pro-oxidizing substance.
Would getting an abdominal CT scan [not urgently needed but might need due to kidney stone], which would create lots of free radicals in the body, be extra damaging to my DNA and therefore long term cancer risk due to being on Malarone? Any thoughts? thanks!

Aren't all chemicals (drugs) pro-oxidizing?
You might be interested to know that my husband got rid of his kidney stone by taking Chanca Piedra herb. In less than a week, his pain was greatly diminished and within 10 days he knew he was in the clear.
Our doctor said it's worked for every one of his patients. My husband continues to take the herb each day .. he's had stones for more than 30 years... now nothing since then. (He's been on the herb for about 3 yrs now)

thanks for the reply. Honestly I don't know much science compared to many here hence my question
Just wanna make sure if I need a CT [now or in the future] while on Malarone I won't be doing extra damage from an otherwise relatively mild radiation dose.
