Hi guys, is it considered effective to only do Art for 2 days a week [Sat/Sun] and then take the weekdays off to avoid your body blocking the absorption, in addition to Malarone and Cryptolepis? This past weekend I took 1500mg per day divided into three 500mg doses. That's what my doc recommended but just wanted to run it past the forum. He also said I could do 3 days on, 10 days off. Which would be preferable? Thanks

I don't know about 2 days per week. I got rid of babs taking it 3 days in a row each week.
I had obvious flares each week like clockwork. My lyme doc had me take the art to encompass the flares. So, I started taking it right before the flare was due to start, and I finished taking it when the flare ended.
It worked like a miracle for me. I was told to take it on an empty stomach twice per day.

Thanks for the info. Were you also on Malarone? what dose? I'm currently on 250/100 one pill twice a day, but thinking of doubling the dose; been on it so far for one week and no herxing or change in symptoms.

I couldn't take zith so I couldn't take Malarone or Mepron.
I got rid of babs taking Bactrim DS.
Have you checked the Burrascano Guidelines for the dosage of Malarone?
