*Feeling like there is a constant lump in the throat

*Nausea even when taken with a sizeable meal

I am having serious issues with the GI, cannot decipher if it is from yeast issues, a flagyl herx, being on flagyl for six months, or pancreatitis flared up.

I am so miserable.

Yes, Flagyl can cause these symptoms...

Flagyl will also likely make yeast issues worse.

If it is yeast, taking a Molybdenum supplement may help reduce symptoms.

May need to skip the Flagyl for a few days to determine whether Flagyl is the culprit. But do discuss this with your LLMD...

I have Kefir I've been drinking for about a week. These symptoms didn't return (I had these in late september and early October until GB surgery) until I drank kefir. I can't decide what the culprit is, but its making life hard to manage.

I kind of doubt it's from Flagyl unless it's part of a herx.

Have you tried Alka Selzer Gold? That stuff truly is brilliant.

Also maybe stop the kefir. It's a little nitpicky but not all lactobacillus are nice lactobacillus. If your gut is sterile and you've been swallowing that it could just be dysbiosis.

So what do I do to combat yeast caused by rampant flagyl use?

If you really think you have actual candida, one drop of methylene blue in eight ounces of water once a day will kill candida in three days.

Be off all your meds, don't eat aged meats or cheeses and make sure your blood pressure is stable.

However I think the smartest way to handle this is to get an upper and lower gi performed by a gastroenterologist. That will sort out anything you've got going on.

Flagyl is horrible for me.

As for yeast and gut issues, try this:

Custom Probiotics D-lactate free .. amazing stuff!

What does flagyl do to you? I have not taken any today and I am still slightly nauseated. No lump in throat

I think it all has to do with my pancreas and my LLMD is just missing it like most doctors do.
